Albuquerque's The City of Albuquerque is boosting its green efforts more than ever by inviting its citizens to attend one of its Climate Action Plan town hall meetings, held throughout the city in August.

One of the many goals of The Climate Action Plan is to take measures towards reducing local greenhouse gas emissions. Read the full proposed Climate Action Plan, take notes if you wish, and get your family and friends involved and present, too!

Here are the dates, times, and locations for the town hall meetings:

Tuesday, Aug. 18th 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Palo Duro Senior Center

Wednesday, Aug. 19th 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Cesar Chavez Community Center

Tuesday, Aug. 25th 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Bear Canyon Senior Center

Wednesday, Aug. 26th 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM at Rooms LOBO A & B
University of New Mexico

Thursday, Aug. 27th 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Los Volcanes Senior Center

Saturday, Aug. 29th 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Albuquerque Museum
