Foothills North is located east of Tramway, between Montgomery and Academy, and includes parts of Glenwood Hills and High Desert. Foothills North features picturesque Southwestern architecture by builders such as Scott Patrick and Rutledge Homes and offers easy access to the foothills open spaces as well as numerous shopping within proximity.

Foothills North is home to High Desert, a sublime community of luxurious homes among several gated neighborhoods. The High Desert Park, one of the finest in Albuquerque, offers two playgrounds, two full basketball courts, two unlit tennis courts, a soccer field, a volleyball field, and three picnic tables.

Just to the South is lovely Glenwood Hills, consisting of homes, townhomes, and condos. Glenwood Hills has the aptly named Sunset Canyon Park (pictured, below right) for its stunning sunsets on the vista!
