The UNM Area is bounded by I-25 and San Mateo, and by Central and Indian School. This area features many styles of single-family homes, townhomes, and condos ranging from traditional adobe to Mediterranean to art deco.
Of course, this area is home to the University of New Mexico (its Zimmerman Library is pictured left), the scenic Duck Pond, Popejoy Theater, and the University Hospital. The historic Nob Hill district boasts award-winning dining establishments and some of the hippest boutiques. Along this part of Central Avenue, you’ll take in arts and crafts stores, new age gift shops, unique antiques, and a thriving nightlife.
